System Manager manages the resources within Interax. It is responsible for configuration options, authorizations and other general system functions. The power of Interax System Manager allows customers to manage all types of discrete manufacturing processes from a single source. It enables local personnel to reconfigure the solution as shop floor processes change. It is a simple, low cost way to adapt the software to evolving shop floor needs.
Author enables a planner to create work instructions and routings for the shop floor. This module has many options for attaching information to the work instructions, editing and formatting the instructions and enabling the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) within the instructions. All required and reference information that users need on the shop floor is electronically linked to a work instruction package, regardless of the source. The result is a flexible, multi-media, easy-to-understand work instruction package for all work orders.
Work Manager enables a supervisor to "see at a glance" the status of all work orders on the shop floor. This module allows a manager to observe the status of work orders on the shop floor from anywhere and make the necessary changes to keep work moving throughout the shop. Work Manager aids in daily decision making with accurate, timely information to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Work Assistant provides the shop user with all information required to do their job on a single, easy to read screen. It also enables data collection on the shop floor such as buy offs, measurements and part/lot traceability information. Shop users can track their labor, initiate non-conformance requests, put tasks on hold, leave notes for others that will work the job and communicate electronically with manufacturing engineering. This module directly connects the shop user with other parts of the company in order to maintain a smooth, efficient workflow across the plant.
Integration Engine provides an interface from Interax to external systems. It has extensive capabilities to easily connect to other systems that transfer data to/from Interax. This product integrates Interax into the technology infrastructure of a plant to collect and distribute shop floor information to the decision makers. Integration Engine reduces the time, effort and cost of an integration between Interax and any system supporting shop floor activities.
Tool Manager manages the tool crib and the tooling needed for shop floor tasks. It can manage assets from tools to consumables to gages and fixtures. It manages kitting for specific work orders as well as reorder on low inventory of consumables. The recall feature tracks calibration dates/usage and can be used to monitor shelf life of volatile materials. This product integrates tool and asset management with work instructions and shop floor management.
IE Manager is a 'sand box' for Industrial Engineers to enter times for each shop floor operation or unit of work and perform 'what if' scenarios based on optional events. Simple Industrial Engineering workflow analysis and optimization are enabled with IE Manager.
Generative Logic automates routine tasks. For example, there are routine tasks that need to be performed in a Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) environment based on the service life of a part or component. Generative logic can be used to create a uniquely tailored order for the MRO shop based on the current condition and life of a part. This product enhances the ability of a shop to create lean processes and sustain them. New routine process improvements will always be followed due to procedural enforcement. This creates a sustainable lean environment.
Scheduler is a fully integrated advanced planning, scheduling, and capacity planning system. It has been designed to bolt onto existing MRP and ERP systems or function as a stand-alone technology to replace manual processes and/or other infinite capacity scheduling systems. The tool sets in Interax Scheduler enable companies to maximize profitability by managing shop resources to best global output performances.
